Celebrating Mother’s Day this year has some new and profound ideas. The Standing Women Initiative – standingwomen.org and 2008 event information – invites people of all ages around the world to gather silently for peace on May 11th at 1PM for five minutes local time – with a special focus on a better world for our children and future generations. In this unique program, Brenda, Carol, and Joan read the powerful, lyrical story, “The Great Silent Grandmother Gathering”, a book that has created exciting global attention.
