James O’Dea is former President and Extended Faculty of the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), located in Northern California, dedicated to research and education into the frontiers of human consciousness. His recently published book, Creative Stress, focuses on transforming negative stress into positive action. Additionally, James leads the Peace Ambassador Training program, which is our preeminent virtual training with the world's top peacebuilders. O’Dea previously served as the Executive Director for the SEVA Foundation, and Director of the Washington DC office of Amnesty International, where he testified before Congress and served as a representative to the State Department, the White House, and the World Conference on Human Rights.
