Featured Guests
James O'Dea James O’Dea is President of the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), located in Northern California, dedicated to research and education into the frontiers of human consciousness. Additionally, James co-leads a dialogue series called "Compassionate and Social Healing”, which brings together leaders and activists for human rights, peace, and social reconciliation. O’Dea previously served as the Executive Director for the SEVA Foundation, and Director of the Washington DC office of Amnesty International, where he testified before Congress and served as a representative to the State Department, the White House, and the World Conference on Human Rights. He brings to his work a sense of urgency, as well as an Irish sense of humor, and love of language.
Van Jones Van Jones is Founder and President of Green For All, which is dedicated to building an inclusive green economy strong enough to lift people out of poverty. An eco-visionary, civil rights attorney, and public speaker, Van is working to integrate solutions to America’s two biggest problems: social inequality and environmental destruction. He serves on the Board of many leading-edge organizations involved in improving community health and promoting responsible business. Van envisions a national "green-collar jobs" initiative that will create a green pathway out of poverty and diversify the coalitions fighting global warming. He is a 1993 Yale Law graduate, husband and proud father.
